Start a CareKit Community Chapter and empower your peers to make a meaningful impact in your community.

Establishing a Chapter is similar to starting a school club, but it’s not limited to schools—you can also create a Chapter within a community organization, regional area, or among a group of friends. The key difference is that by starting a CareKit Community Chapter, you’ll become part of our larger network of volunteers and a branch of our nonprofit organization.

Benefits of Starting a Chapter

Make a Difference

Impact the lives of underserved individuals by providing essential Hygiene Products to underserved communities.

Develop Leadership Skills

Lead a team and enhance your ability to motivate others.

Gain Experience

Organize and execute community service projects for practical skills.

Expand Your Network

Connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for helping others.

Raise Awareness

Educate your community about health resources and the needs of underserved populations.

Chapter Application Process

Step 1

1.

Complete the Chapter Interest Form

2.

Once submitted, our team will review your application.

3.

If selected, you will receive a follow-up email to schedule a brief chapter interview where we will discuss your goals, plans, and vision for your chapter.

For School-Based Chapters:

Please make sure to introduce the idea to your school leadership or club advisor and receive verbal approval.

For Regional Chapters:

You will need to have an adult advisor over the age of 18. This can be a parent, guardian, or trusted adult who will support your chapter, help with communication, and oversee activities as needed.

Step 2

1.

Assemble your Leadership Team and assign key officer roles. Your team can be as big as 2 people.

2.

Stay organized with your documents, including any forms or budget requests required by your school or group.

3.

Set clear goals for what your chapter wants to accomplish in its first year.

4.

Brainstorm events and fundraiser ideas that fit your community’s needs and interests.

5.

Start recruiting members and reaching out to local partners who can support your mission.
