Supporting Chrysalis Center’s Mission with CareKit Community

We are honored to share that CareKit Community donated 50 CareKits to Chrysalis Center, Inc. in Hartford, Connecticut.

Chrysalis Center offers a comprehensive suite of supportive services for individuals and families facing challenges such as poverty, recovery from addiction, mental health issues, unemployment, homelessness, or re-entering society after incarceration. Their commitment to empowerment through housing, job training, employment services, recovery support, and healthcare helps clients transform their lives.

Our CareKits are packed with hygiene essentials—soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and bandages—to support physical health and the dignity of everyone Chrysalis serves. Access to these basics can have profound effects, especially for individuals struggling to rebuild their lives.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Gabrielle “Gabby” Jacunski, Volunteer and Outreach Manager, for reaching out and coordinating this. Gabby’s passion for helping others and her dedication to community engagement made this delivery possible. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside Chrysalis Center and help further their mission of “Getting help… Getting better… Giving back.”
