Over 300 Reasons to Say Thank You to Aiken Elementary School

We are so grateful to Aiken Elementary School in West Hartford, Connecticut, for their incredible support of our hygiene drive. With the help of students, families, and staff, Aiken collected over 300 hygiene products to benefit communities in need.

A very special thank you to Principal Shannon Mlodzinski and the dedicated Aiken staff for making this drive possible. Their enthusiasm and encouragement helped turn a simple idea into a powerful example of what happens when a school comes together for a cause.

Each donated item — from shampoo and soap to toothpaste and deodorant — will be assembled into CareKits and delivered to schools and community organizations in Hartford. These CareKits provide essential hygiene support to individuals who may not have consistent access to these basic items.

Aiken’s contribution reminds us how impactful community partnerships can be. Your generosity and compassion are helping us support hygiene dignity and health equity one kit at a time.
