Oak Hill School in Hartford, CT receives 20 CareKits

Today, 20 CareKits were delivered to Oak Hill School in Hartford—a state-approved private special education school that provides highly individualized, community-based education programs for students with moderate to severe disabilities.

Serving students ages 3 to 21, Oak Hill offers both day and residential services, ensuring that every learner receives the consistent support they need year-round. Their 12-month model reflects a deep commitment to nurturing academic, emotional, and life skills development at every stage.

At CareKit Community, we believe in the power of dignity and support through access to basic hygiene. We are honored to contribute to the wellbeing of Oak Hill’s students by providing kits that include soap, shampoo, deodorant, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and bandages. These simple items can make a big difference—especially for students who thrive on consistency, routine, and care.
